Strategic Service Teams

Strategic Service Teams are the teams that make Sunday morning happen. We have teams that help with welcoming people to the church, music, production, children, and much more.  All of these areas are looking for individuals to come and be a part of the team.  There is no experience necessary (We will train you!).  These teams are looking for willing hearts!

To volunteer or find out more about one of these teams contact the church office by phone or email the church office by clicking here.

Host Team

The Host Team serves people by welcoming them into our church home.  Opportunities are available to greet, pass out bulletins, pass communion and offering, and make treats for after the worship service.

Worship Team

The Worship Team has the responsibility to lead the congregation into worship.  They are highly motivated and committed to create a comfortable and inviting worship service.  There are many roles that need to be played including singing, playing an instrument, running the sound board, and running PowerPoint.  For more information on the Worship Team click here.

Children’s Team

The goal and mission of those who work in the Children's Ministry Department of Warrenton Christian Church is to bring the message of Jesus Christ to as many children as possible and to minister to the total child: emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually.  There are several roles that need to be filled such as serving breakfast, driving the church van, helping with Sunday school, Kids Church, or more.  For more information on the children’s ministry click here.

Prayer Team

Would you like to stand with someone in prayer?  Warrenton Christian Church feels that prayer is essential in fulfilling its mission; you can never pray too much.  We have faithful and strong prayer group that meets every Tuesday morning at 7:00am at the church and an even bigger ePrayer group to lift up prayer requests.

Care Team

The care team is a group of individuals who desire to show Christ’s love by offering help in tangible ways. Some of the ways help is offered is through meals, hospital and home visits, housework, errands and community resource referrals.
